What: Sales Affiliate Program for Business Service Providers – Kickoff Mtg

When: Tuesday, March 15 at 6pm

Where: 8425 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati OH 45255

Does your business provide a valuable service to other businesses? Would you like to grow your business by expanding your sales force (without incurring additional cost)? Interested in being part of a networking group that provides more than just a few business cards?

Who’s invited? Anyone who provides a business service, and anyone interested in sales.

What are business services? Check out this page for examples.

What exactly is this Sales Affiliate Program? Is it some kind of pyramid scheme? Heck no. The program is simple. In the real world, every small business has the task of selling their products/services, in addition to providing that product or service. This program helps to multiply the sales effort, by providing additional independent sales agents, who represent several business services at the same time.

Who are these sales reps, and why would they want to work for me on a commission-only basis? Well…these people are actually other business service providers trying to grow their business. When they make their sales calls, they sell not only their own services, but those of others in the network.

Wait, does that mean that I’m going to have to sell other people’s stuff? Well, only as much as you want to. But think about it – if you’re already making tons of sales calls trying to grow your business, wouldn’t it be useful if you could earn commission on other stuff that your prospective clients might need? Some folks really like sales and they may choose to go at it full-time. Or if you want, you can stick mostly to your own work and let others help grow your business.

I already have referral partners that I work with. What is the benefit of working through PBS? That’s cool, you can do your own thing. But PBS does have a lot to offer that can add to your existing business development process, such as:

Handling admin functions, such as billing and collections

An independent marketing engine (we actively promote your business to our entire network)

Guarantees – Clients have an added assurance in that PBS assumes the liability of successful completion of work

A positive, energetic network of friends and associates who are interested in your success

I have more questions… Come to the meeting and get them answered!

What is Wealth?

When you approach prospective clients, do you think (perhaps subconsciously): “I want to take the money that is in his/her pocket and put it in mine as quickly as possible?”

It’s easy to think of wealth as something static – a scarce resource that we have to fight for.

I prefer to define it in a different way. Wealth, in my opinion, is the representation of human effort applied in the service of others.

Grow Your Money

I believe that wealth can be grown. We create wealth whenever we provide something valuable enough for others to pay for. So, the solution for a struggling economy is for everyone to increase their efforts in providing value for others (as opposed to shuffling money around).

To build a successful business, we can’t expect instant results. We have to grow it before we can harvest the fruit. We can grow it in a couple ways:

Find ways to improve the product or service that you offer.

Grow your business relationships and improve the quality of your interactions

Meet Others’ Needs

When you meet prospective clients, before you think “How can I get him/her to buy what I have to offer?” instead ask, “What does this person need right now, and is there a way I can provide that?“
